В настоящем томе представлено новое исследование российского философа и культуролога, профессора Национального исследовательского университета «Высшая школа экономики» (НИУ ВШЭ) О.А. Жуковой. В монографии анализируются исторически сложившиеся и современные практики российской культуры с точки зрения наследования духовной, художественно-философской и социально-политической традиций, оформляющих русский мир. Как исторический феномен русская культура представляет собой тезаурус духовных и художественных ценностей, а как смыслообразующее начало социальных практик современной России она приобретает вид культурного капитала. Главное внимание в книге уделено духовному и интеллектуальному творчеству человека, содержание и формы которого в условиях информационной культуры подвергаются значительным трансформациям. Автор отстаивает точку зрения, что философская и культурологическая рефлексия обеспечивает «производство смысла». Участвуя в «производстве знаний», гуманитарные науки призваны связать философские модели понимания с моделями социально-культурной деятельности человека.
