Alger Hiss (1904–1996) – Ameerika jurist, valitsusametnik, kirjanik ja õppejõud, keda alates 1948. aastast hakati süüdistama Nõukogude Liidu kasuks luuramises. 1950. aastal mõisteti ta süüdi ning ta määrati 10 aastaks vangi.
