Eine Pädagogik, welche sich über den Personenkreis von Menschen mit zugeschriebener geistiger Behinderung definiert und diesen adressiert, ist in der Verantwortung, sich selbstkritisch mit ihrer Entwicklungsgeschichte, ihrem gegenwärtigen Selbstverständnis sowie ihrer Legitimations- und Standortfrage für die Zukunft auseinanderzusetzen. Vor dem Hintergrund einer zunehmend wahrnehmbaren Erschütterung humanistischer und demokratischer Grundwerte erfolgt in diesem Buch die Reflexion der positiven Wegmarken, aber auch der Exklusionsmacht einer «Pädagogik bei zugeschriebener geistiger Behinderung».
