Книга для семейного чтения. Составлена из духовных рассказов, поучений и повести «Крестоносцы», собранных исповедником веры протоиереем Григорием Пономаревым (1914-1997). Все рассказы из архива отца Григория, переписанные вручную духовными чадами или напечатанные на машинописной машинке, ранее были опубликованы в дореволюционных изданиях и имеют грифы Комитета по духовной цензуре царской России. Рассказы заново переписаны, отредактированы, восстановлены утраченные при переписке тексты. Работа по восстановлению текстов ведётся уже более 20 лет. Архив передан писательнице Елене Кибиревой в безвозмездный дар дочерью священника Ольгой Григорьевной. В настоящее время архив отца Григория пополняется новыми рассказами из православных журналов царской России. Книга имеет грифы издательского отдела МП.
