Zwölf Monate ist die radelnde Reporterin unterwegs mit 2 Akkus durch 17 Länder und über 16 000 Kilometer. Auf ihrer Reise weiss sie morgens oft nicht, wo sie abends enden wird. Aber es kommt immer gut. «Die Welt da draussen ist viel besser als das, was wir auf dem Sofa sitzend in den Nachrichten sehen. Gerade in muslimischen Ländern ist die Gastfreundschaft unglaublich gross.» Interessante Begegnungen, spannende Erfahrungen, aber auch schwierige Momente bringt diese Abenteuerreise mit sich. Besonders zu dem Zeitpunkt, als Andrea Freiermuth erfährt, dass sie ihre Reiseroute wegen Einreisebestimmungen ändern muss.
