In the gospel of Matthew 6:14-15 it states, “If ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.” If this passage is removed, it can open the door to racism and hatred in our hearts. My dad worked for a woman that said she hated Japanese people because her husband was killed in World War II. Her husband was a pilot, and his plane was shot down. Was he saved? Who knows? Maybe he made peace with the Lord before he died. However, if she did not repent and ask for forgiveness, on judgment day, the two will be in very different places.
This is of such great concern. Let me give you some examples that you may be able to understand more clearly. There are times when a person is a witness to a crime and has to testify in court. Sometimes they will tell lies about another person just because they are of a different race. In God’s Word, it tells us if you have respect of persons, or make exceptions of persons, you are committing a sin. Sin is what separates us from God. If you vote for someone because they are of your race and not for their political stance—it is wrong. Dr. Martin Luther King said that the content of the character of a person is what is most important and not the color of his or her skin. If you lie for someone just because they are your church member, college sorority brother/sister, fellow police officer, union member, from the same political party, or even blood relative etc.—it is wrong.
The Bible tells us that all liars will have their part in the lake of fire. If you have hatred in your heart because of past sins, I don’t care if was committed during Bible times, slavery, the Holocaust, or even something that has recently occurred—you have to forgive to be forgiven. The Bible tells us that vengeance belongs to the Lord. Even if you have forgiven others, they may never change their ways. But forgiveness does not mean that you have to continue to socialize with them. The Bible tells us to abstain from all appearance of evil, by doing so you will not get burned again. A farmer once said that if a mule kicks you once, that is the mules fault. If the mule kicks you twice—it is your fault!
Mark 15:28 says, “And the Scripture was fulfilled, which saith, and he was numbered with the transgressors.” This is another example of a passage that has been completely left out or made a footnote by elite scholars who have written new Bible versions. Once again, that is an error. This is a prophecy that was written between 745 and 680 BC by the prophet Isaiah. In the book of Isaiah chapter 53:12, it says, “Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.” This is where Jesus—the Christ—took on the sin of the whole world. Please understand, after Adam and Eve sinned in the garden, humanity was under the sin curse because of Satan.
In the Old Testament, we read that provision had to be made in order to offer up sacrifices to God for Israel’s sins. The priests had to receive the offering. The offering was burned on the altar, and the smoke ascended. The people’s sins were then forgiven. The sacrifice had to be made by way of a spotless animal; they could not be sick or lame. Israel even offered up fine flour to God. It could not be full of weevils or something that could not be properly used. Eventually, this system, designed by God, was abused and misused because of the love of money. Therefore, God sent His only begotten Son—the perfect sacrifice. Through Him there is eternal life (See John 3:16). First Timothy 2:5 says, “For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus…” Now, why would this passage be removed from some Bible versions? I believe they don’t want to recognize Jesus as the mediator. You cannot get to the Father except through the Son—Jesus Christ.
In chapter 16, of the gospel of Mark, verses nine through twenty has all been left out in many Bible versions. Here we go again (Please read this for yourself). Perhaps they don’t want you to know that a person can have multiple demons or that the demons can be cast out. Have you heard of people with multiple personalities? It is the same thing. Or maybe they don’t want you to recognize that Jesus rose from the grave on the third day, just like He said He would. Or maybe they want to hide verse 16, where He said that he who believes and is baptized, shall be saved, but he that believeth not shall be damned (Emphasis added). Or maybe they want you to be unaware of this verse:
And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. (Mark 16:17)
Maybe the Devil does not want you to know the power that is in the name of Jesus. By the way, the Lord does not want you to prove anything to anybody by picking up snakes or drinking poison. He said, “If you drink any deadly poison it will not hurt you.” After Jesus had gone to glory, do you remember that Paul accidentally picked up a serpent and was not hurt? The Bible tells us not to tempt the Lord our God. The Devil tried to tempt Jesus after He had fasted for forty days. He tried to tempt him with food, tried to get him to commit suicide, all these things were written that we would have a better understanding of the Word. (See Matthew 4:1)
In Luke 17:36, it says two men will be in the field, one will be taken and the other left. I don’t know why this verse has been removed from some Bible versions. Perhaps it is because of repetition, since in the book of Matthew (24:40) it says, “Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.” In verse 41 it continues, “Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.” These gospels were written by two different writers. I would say, leave it as it has been written. But read it up above and down below, perhaps you will come up with a sound reason for the omission. Perhaps they don’t want you to know that the Lord is coming back.
Matthew 13:38 says, “The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one.” The enemy that sowed them is the Devil. The harvest is the end of the world. The reapers are the angels. When the Lord returns for His people, two men will be at work, one will be saved and the other will not. One will leave and one will stay behind.
The Bible tells us to seek and we will find. It also says in 2 Timothy 2:15, to “study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” In the gospel of Luke (chapter 23) where it states that Herod was to release one prisoner unto them (the crowd) at the feasts, this verse was also deleted from many Bible versions. Maybe they don’t want you to understand that there was a choice between releasing Jesus or Barabbas. But did they really have a choice? After all, their hearts were hardened. In John 10:17 it says, “Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.” And we, as Christians, know that He rose like He said He would.
John 5:4 was also deleted from some Bible versions. That verse says, “For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had.” Perhaps these scholars don’t believe in healing. Perhaps they are purposely leaving things out which contradict their beliefs. This is of the Devil. The Devil wants to be in control of your healing and not allow the Lord to be in control. He wants you to bow down and worship him in all areas of your life.
Acts 8:37 says, “And Philip said, ‘If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest.’ And he answered and said, ‘I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.’” This has been left out of some versions. Do they not want you to know that Jesus Christ is the Son of God?
Through Jesus Christ, 1 John 5:7 says, “For there are three that bear
