However, due to his declining heart condition, Harry has become increasingly symptomatic with a continual reduction in physical stamina and therefore continues to face much larger hurdles to overcome in his daily life. His doctor has ultimately determined that Harry will require open-heart surgery. About the Author: Christopher Memoli is a survivor of a rare heart defect known as Congenitally Corrected Transposition of the Great Arteries (CCTGA), an uncommon type of Congenital Heart Disease (CHD). He had his first open heart surgery at 19 years old and his second open heart surgery at 44 years old. In addition to his surgeries, he has undergone multiple medical procedures. Despite the challenges of his condition, he enjoys a full life and is an inspiration for thousands of individuals facing challenges in life. Christopher graduated from Boston University. He is now a successful community development financier in New York City with a deep commitment to philanthropy. He resides with his wife and two children in Westchester County, New York.
Christopher maintains a fierce determination and positive attitude to conquer all the difficulties he encounters. He is a second-degree black belt karate, an avid golfer, a talented drummer and a loving father and husband. He is also a member of the Adult Congenital Heart Association.
