Jesus was impartial: The qualities of Jesus are truly a man of tender warmth and deep feelings. He was approachable and kind-hearted and loving towards everyone. Even little children felt at ease with him. “People now began bringing him young children for him to touch them, but the disciples reprimanded them. At seeing this, Jesus was indignant and said to them: “Let the young children come to me; do not try to stop them, for the Kingdom of God belongs to such ones. I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will never enter it. Mark. 10: 13-16. Jesus was impartial. He hated corruption and injustice. When “Jesus entered the temple and threw out all those selling and buying in the temple, and he overturned the tables of the money-changers and the benches of those selling doves, he said to them; “It is written, ‘My house will be called a house of prayer,’ but you are making it a cave of robbers.” Matthew. 21:12-13. Jesus was angry for righteousness' sake. It is far better to correct people for righteousness than let them carry on with their corruption and injustice ways. During his ministry times when a woman received little respect and had few privileges, he treated them with dignity. For example, The Samaritan woman for Jews has no dealings with Samaritans. “So, the Samaritan woman said to him: How is it that you, despite being a Jew, ask me for a drink even though I am a Samaritan woman?” John. 4:9. Jesus was truly humble he even washed the feet of his disciples that this kind of service would normally be done by a lowly servant. Jesus was moved with compassion and sensitivity to the needs of others. It is evident that when Jesus was under the supernatural power of God or God's Spirit, he performed miracles of healing. “When he came ashore, he saw a large crowd, and he felt pity for them, and he cured their sick ones.” Matthew. 14:14. Example of how Jesus felt for people’s pain and suffering, He was moved with compassion and reaching out his hands to touch the sick and healing them. For example, a leper man, “There also came to him a leper, pleading with him even on bended knee, saying to him: “If you just want to, you can make me clean.” At that, he was moved with pity, and he stretched out his hand and touched him, and said to him: I want to! We make clean,” Immediately leprosy vanished from him, and he became clean.” Mark. 1: 40-42. Can you imagine how that man must have felt? He was kept away from others because of his leprosy or no one cared enough to touch his hands, Jesus was full of mercy and kindness came and touches his hands that made him whole again. Jesus was indeed so faithful until death; it was a cruel and painful death at the hands of those he had nothing against.
Jesus came to save others: “More than that, he did not come to this earth to be served but to save others, when he came as a man, he humbled himself and become obedient to the point of death, yes, death on a torture stake. Philippians. 2:8.” Jesus was going through all sorts of inhuman treatment at the time of his death. He was arrested by false witnesses, convicted by corrupt judges, laughed at by mobs, and tortured by soldiers. Nailed to a stake, yet he was still humble and quiet at the point of death and said his last prayer “Father forgive them” and he took his last breath, crying out: “It has been accomplished!” Meaning he came down for a mission to fulfill it for his Father in Heaven. When he had received the sour wine, Jesus said: “it has been accomplished!” and bowing his head, he gave up his spirit. Jesus's death opens to us the opportunity for eternal life with God. “For Christ died once for all time for sins, a righteous person for unrighteous ones, to lead you to God. He was put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit.” 1 Peter. 3: 18. After few appearances to his disciples on earth and others a few days after his death, he returned to heaven. But this man offered one sacrifice for sins for all time and sat down at the right hand of God, from then on waiting until his enemies should be placed as a stool for his feet. Hebrew 10:12-13.
Jesus asked his disciples: He said to them: “You thought, who do you say I am?’’ Simon Peter answered: “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” In response, Jesus said to him: “Happy you are, Simon son of Jonah, because flesh and blood did not reveal it you, but my Father in heavens did.” Matthew. 16: 15-17. See Simon knew who Jesus was and said; “You are the Christ the Son of the Living God.” And see how Jesus respond was; my Father in Heaven revealed it to you.“For this is what Jehovah says, The Creator of the heavens, the true God, The One who formed the earth, its Maker who firmly established it, who did not create it simply for nothing, but formed it to be inhabited: “I am Jehovah, and there is no one else.” Isaiah, 45: 18. Jehovah God is a living God; he existed long before the creation of the world. The highlighted words mean there is no mother of God or father of God. If we search the scriptures we will only find the Sons of God or the Son of God, or Son of man, but no mother of God or father of God; and there is no one else but God Jehovah. “So, my word that goes out of my mouth will be. It will not return to me without results, but it will certainly accomplish whatever is my delight, and it will have sure success in what I send it to do.” Isaiah, 55: 11. Jehovah spoke his word and sent his son Jesus Christ to earth to accomplish his will to be a successor in what he sent him to do.
Jesus said to her: “Believe me, woman, the hour is coming when neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem will you worship the Father. You worship what you do not know; we worship what we know because salvation begins with the Jews. Nevertheless, the hour is coming, and it is now, when the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for indeed, the Father is looking for ones like these who worship him. God is present everywhere and can be worship anywhere, at any time. Is your worship genuine and true? Jesus said that the true worshipers must worship the “Father in spirit and truth”. Jesus was always pointing us towards the Father in Heaven. We should be thankful and worship our God, and thank Jehovah God, for sending Jesus Christ to save us from our sins. Be imitators of Christ means our deeds and action are Christ-like manners through the Holy Spirit and power and the knowledge of Jehovah working through Christ on our behalf.
