      Lori knows firsthand what it’s like to have time restraints as she is a wife and a busy mother of two! She understands the challenge that accompanies what is means to always have nutritious food on hand with a busy schedule. For the last 4 years her fast food breakfast of choice has been a smoothie. Her son Daniel is affectionately known as “shake face.”

      With over 13 years of experience in the fitness and nutrition world, Lori is the founder and CEO of WOW! Weight Loss, WOW! Professional Certification, and the producer of the Wellness Business Summit.

      Lori and her WOW! Practitioners have helped thousands of clients achieve their nutrition and weight loss goals across Canada since 2007. Lori is on a mission to improve the lives, both physically and emotionally, for 1 million people by 2022.

      Lori started her career as a personal trainer while attending Concordia University in Montreal. At the same time, she was suffering from severe stomach issues which went undiagnosed by many doctors over a two-year period. Fortunately, Lori was introduced to a Naturopath, who developed a Candida protocol for Lori to follow during her time away at school. Lori credits her ND for literally “saving her life” and introducing her to the power of food.

      Lori Kennedy currently operates a WOW! Weight Loss Clinic in Toronto, ON and holds a position on the Board of Directors as Vice President of sales and marketing for the Canadian Association of Nutrition Professionals (CAHN-Pro).

      Lorene Sauro, RHN spent 16 years as a celebrated pastry chef before personal and family health issues led to a journey from dessert magician to holistic nutritionist. She has been a registered holistic nutritionist and teacher and the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition for 13 years and she is the co-founder, and former chair, of the Canadian Holistic Nutrition Conference.

      Though she has a passion for nutrition, she has never lost her desire to create the best cookies, muffins, breads and desserts. Her nutrition knowledge has led her to develop great recipes using new ingredients that still deliver the same texture and flavor people expect. Lorene hosts cooking and baking classes and for several years taught the gluten-free baking class series “Cooking without Wheat” for those with Celiac disease and gluten allergies.

      Currently, Lorene is a director for the Canadian Association of Holistic Nutrition Professionals (CAHN-Pro), which regulates and board certifies holistic nutritionists and offers an apprentice program for new graduates of holistic nutrition programs.

      Lorene offers a unique perspective on healthy eating to provide a comprehensive guide to better nutrition. It is her goal to help people sort through all the rhetoric and misinformation surrounding the topic of food to return to them the ability to enjoy their food and sustain their vitality and health.

      Lorene believes people should focus on consuming whole foods, including whole grains and whole sweeteners, created with flavor, taste and texture. She believes we are all individuals and our diets and lifestyles should reflect this. It is best that we should all eat foods rich in nutrients and learn to respond to our natural food cues. This will allow us to eat the right amount of food for our own best results.
