„Ükski pere pole saar“ on liigutav ja kaasakiskuv lugu aktiivsus-ja tähelepanuhäire (ATH) ja autismispektri häirega last kasvatava pere igapäevaelust. “Ükski pere pole saar” räägib süütundest, mis on tuttav paljudele erivajadustega laste vanematele, ja sellest, kuidas lapse vajadust suurema toetuse järele pannakse pahatihti halva kasvatuse, liigse suhkru või ebaturvaliste peresuhete süüks. ATH-lapsed endale külge sildi „rumal“ või „halvasti kasvatatud laps“, kuid ATH-l pole rumaluse ega halva kasvatusega mingit pistmist.
