Produktion von 1977 Die Peterswarf in Ockholm Regie: Alfred Weidenmann Darsteller: Lina Carstens, Anita Ekström, Gert Fröbe, Werner Hinz, John Phillip Law, Vera Tschechowa, Richard Lauffen. Die Musik schrieb Hans-Martin Majewski. Dieser Film weicht teilweise vom Buch ab. Viele Szenen der Novelle gehen nicht oder abgeändert in den Film ein, so zum Beispiel der Tod von Tede Volkerts und Haukes Tochter Wienke. Gedreht wurde der Film unter anderem in Ockholm. Hauptmotiv der Außenaufnahmen war die Ockholmer Peterswarf. Wie im Buch und in der Realität ist sie auch im Film der Hof des Deichgrafen. Produktion von 1984 Regie: Klaus Gendries Darsteller: Sylvester Groth, Hansjürgen Hürrig, Fred Düren und andere Dieser Fernsehfilm war eine Koproduktion zwischen der DDR und der Volksrepublik Polen. Die an der Nordsee spielenden Szenen wurden an der Ostseeküste der beiden Länder gedreht. Der Film wurde am 26. Dezember 1984 erstmals im DDR-Fernsehen gezeigt und hatte am 7. September 1985 in Husum bundesdeutsche Uraufführung.
