      To The Reader

Thank you for taking the time to read this fine book of information regarding the Church of Scientology, David Miscavige, L. Ron Hubbard, Dianetics, and the management, administration and other aspects of Scientology.

I would like to invite you to reality. I know it may be hard to fathom that you were betrayed but, that is exactly what will have to be confronted and dealt with.

There are a very few people leading you down a dark path of insanity, violence, deprogramming, and other such unreal practices. Each will get what is coming to them without any intervention. Nobody has to do anything to “stop them” in actuality – it will just happen, and largely due to their own efforts.

To you who understand what you are reading is information regarding the true nature of Scientology and is a viewpoint from a real Scientologist, you are respected by not only me but by your friends, family and those around you. By ignoring the noise and the dramatic, unfounded claims you are making a huge impact already by not abiding by the wishes of the insane.

Chapter 1: Introduction to the Apostates

Defining the word apostates will help anyone see how we arrived at the current circus of social media affairs. Apostate: a disloyal person who betrays or deserts his cause or religion or political party or friend etc. Derived from the Greek word apostatēs ‘deserter’

This definition helps you see that at one time (most) of the vocal crusaders attempted to be part of the Scientology organization, and simply found it too hard to follow the code of honest people working for a better world.

A disloyal person can take on many forms. A friend you trusted can turn his back on you, a person you helped can feel no appreciation or reciprocation toward your efforts, and someone you took at face value can turn out to be there for the wrong reasons and have criminal intentions that lead to their personal gain, but your misfortune.

A deserter is obviously someone you expected was there for the same reasons as you. One sees the purpose of the group and the widespread help it delivers, but instead of supporting the effort decides to desert the cause. In some sense we all have the right to desert a cause (although there are responsible ways to leave a group rather than the cowardly practice of desertion) but you then wouldn’t expect them to spend their remaining time promoting lies and disparaging the group they left. If you’re out, then leave; get on with your life, good riddance, but when you look a little closer you see for yourself the true intentions of the cowardly and the insane.

After looking for myself at the operations of those are vested into the purpose of profiting off of false allegations and exaggerations towards Scientology, I decided to take it upon myself to write a few chapters for all of those interested and/or affected by this virus of information. This is only a high level attempt to at least expose what's really happening behind the scenes.

Throughout my apostate research I find these people have either pretended to be Scientologists and or are just employed by those who are against Scientology for what it is doing to their business. Specifically, the businesses who are being affected by Scientology are the American Psychiatric Association, American Medical Association, the marijuana industry, psychiatrists, psychologists, religious bigots, the mainstream media, and Big Pharma. Why is that?

Each of these organizations have a racket going where they profit from misleading the American people and the world at large. There short term profits do not out way the long term negative affects their ‘services’ have on people who trust them. There is a LOT of money involved with all of these groups, and for each you can find out for yourself how many stories there are of ‘treatment’ offered and ‘promises’ made for something better that is never delivered.

I’ve made some very major statements above and these are not going to be treated fairly or justly by those who are involved in the illegal and biased dealings against the Church of Scientology. But, that is why I am the one standing up and speaking out about it so those who are sane can fully understand it and the reasons why the apostates are doing what they are doing.

Also be sure and check out some of the links in my References section to back up my statements made here.

Chapter 2: Scientology is a Success

The Scientology religion is an ultimate success (and by golly that's why apostates go so crazy about attacking the Church). In fact it is completely successful for a new religious movement for have achieved so much is such a short period of time. Every week people check it out for themselves, the apostates stories are questioned, and people decide for themselves who is telling it straight.

I have been in Scientology for all my life. I have seen everything in it, basically. I have also visited other religions, and my broader family is not all made up of Scientologists. My family is a mix of Greek Orthodox, Catholic, Baptist, atheist, and so forth. I am not going to say that I know everything about Scientology but, I do know quite a lot about the subject.

Scientology and Dianetics were founded from decades of research by Lafayette Ronald Hubbard. Mr. Hubbard (Ron to his many friends) studied the mind and the human condition from a young age and his research came to its first peak in 1950 with the publication of Dianetics. The title of the book means Dia - through, and Nous - mind or soul. Together this means Through the Mind and the book provides many of the answers to how the mind works and how you can recover from upsetting or severely traumatic incidents. These discoveries opened the doors to teaching how people can help themselves and overcome many of the anxieties, fears and self limitations we all share.

Scientology was then founded after Dianetics. In 1952 the first Church was established by Scientologists in Los Angeles, CA. Dianetics is what culminated the decades of research and then by applying Dianetics principles came the principles of Scientology. The word Scientology means the study of life, or the study of truth. Pretty ironic that people spread lies about the study of truth, but there's a lot to learn and apply for oneself. The discoveries made during this period can not just be skimmed over and then you suddenly have a clue about it.

The research led to surprising and important observations that lead to people doing better in their lives knowing truth about life and themselves. Sigmund Freud had the idea that you could improve the human condition by understanding the mind, but he started and didn’t develop any workable solutions. Ron finished that job with his research and took it well beyond with a full understanding of the human spirit and the mind in Scientology.
