       Dedication

This book is dedicated to all of the victims of the Holocaust, and those who survived. I would also like to include my grandfather Adolfo, whom I never met, due to his untimely execution, and my five other uncles and aunts who perished due to Fascism and war.

In particular, I would like to remember my favorite uncle Rolando who recently passed away at the tender age of ninety. He unlike many victims never gave up and fought the Fascist in Spain and in North Africa during WWII. He was the bravest man I ever met.
