This thesis is about China's national conditions .Thesis from different aspects describe why China is only a developing country.
As an abroad student,I am so surprise to hear that so many students from different countries say “nihao” to me, so happy to find so many “Confucius Institute “ were found in all over the world, so excited to know people in all over the world are using goods ,which are made in China. Maybe you will think it is nothing, it is very ordinary, but as a Chinese, I am proud of it, at least, it proved that China is greatful, prosperous and strong. Maybe you will ask, China now is so rich, why still is developing country? Yes, that is a really good question, now I will explain that question.
What is the most important is that the west and the east economy is not very balanced. Since the beginning of reform and opening up ,in the transition from a planned economy to the market economy system in the specific historical circumstances , Chinese society has undergone a tremendous change in the national economy his maintained a sustained , rapid and the good development momentum , people’s living standards have markedly improved. Along with the diversification of the income of residents and the economic interests of different interest groups in the readjustment between urban and rural China. Between regions and sectors and between different forms of ownership, the gap between interest and income are gradually expanding .The income gap between eastern and western regions is particularly farmers. Far below the income of farmers in the western, which is very harmful to build a socialist harmonious society, a serious impediment to the realization of common prosperity. In 2010, in the east of China, farmer per capital net income of 8143 yuan, but in the west only 4418 yuan. That is a big social distance. There also lacked a strong internal driving force because of low net income per capita of farmers.
Maybe you will say from TV and internet , I found Beijing and Shanghai are so rich .Yes ,you are right , Beijing and Shanghai are two rich cities in China , but it doesn’t means that all the China is so rich. In the west of China, some families still can’t pay for an education, they lost
the chance to study , what a pity! Some families even can’t be satisfied with dress warmly and eat their's fill.. How serious disparity between the rich and the poor! So China still is a developing country.
2. Primary, secondary and tertiary industry structure are not reasonable. The output value and employment proportion of the second industry in the national economy as a whole is bigger than that of theory models. At the first industry, agriculture play an important part in national economy in China, but now agricultural proportion is too low. Finance and insurance sector as a producer service sector play more significant role to the development of the third industry sectors than any second industry sector. A vigorous development of the third industry will not only promote economics growth but also contribute greatly to the improvement of employment situation. But now in China tertiary industry is much lower than developed countries. That also is a reason why China is not developed country.
3. I think made in China is familiar with everyone. They have a great price advantage. The quality of ours is as good as that of many other suppliers, while our prices are not high as theirs. By the way, which items are you interested in? There is no doubt that most of consumers will choose goods made in China. Maybe you have a question, why Chinese goods the quality are good, but the price are so cheap? Maybe I can answer this question in this way, because Chinese have cheap labor force, large population is immediate cause. In fact, many goods only one dollar profit. For example, the DVD industry in China suffered from high royalty fee .A DVD of $32 price had to pay as high as $18 for patents used, production cost is $13. From that example, we can know that our profit is very little. The most important reason is that the output of manufacturing is the products of low value and low scientific contents. For a number of years, cheap Chinese goods helped to reduce prices in rich economies, but more recently wages and prices have surged in China. For China to develop science is a tough challenge. However, developed countries have a high level of technology. That is why China also is a developing country.
4. In 2011, China GDP reached 471564 billion dollars, is the second place in the world. It seems that now China is very rich much better than many developed countries. But China has a large population, GDP per person is 34999.4 yuan, less than one – tenth of America’s or Japan’s, in 95 places in the world, less than the average level in the world. From that information, we can say China is still a developing country.
Maybe you haven’t been to China , maybe you are not so in-depth knowledge about China , I hope that this treatise can hope you know much about China’s situation , change some segmentary opinions, thereby much better know about China. That is now Chinese’s situation, she is only a developing country, but a big developing country.
