William and Kate
WILLIAM AND KATE
Prince William is one of the world’s most famous young men. He comes from a very old and important family. His mother was the beautiful Princess Diana and his father is Prince Charles – the next king of England.
William is going to be king one day, too, and when you are the future king, the eyes of the world are always on you. People are interested in every part of your life – your friends, your school, your university, and of course your girlfriend.
‘Who is Prince William’s girlfriend?’ the newspapers asked, again and again. ‘What’s her name?’ they said. ‘Is she from a royal family in a different country?’
In the end, they found the answer. And on 29 April 2011, the world smiled on the now married Duke and Duchess of Cambridge – William and Kate.
