Una tarde, decide caminar hacia el palacio para poder hacer realidad su único deseo: ver a un príncipe de verdad. Pero un inesperado acto de bondad, realizado por un príncipe, daría vuelco no sólo a la vida del pequeño mendigo, sino también la del mismo príncipe. Ambientado en 1547, Mark Twain, a pesar de ser un escritor estadounidense, se forma esta pequeña ficción sobre la vida de Eduardo VI y, sobretodo, se centra en las duras, e inhumanas leyes que existían en esos tiempos. Considerado uno de los mejores escritores de Estados Unidos, Mark Twain dedicó la mayor parte de su vida a vivir aventuras, aventuras que se ven reflejadas en la mayoría de sus escritos.
