Clive Staples Lewis (1898–1963) was a British novelist, poet, academic, medievalist, literary critic, essayist, lay theologian, broadcaster, lecturer, and Christian apologist. He held academic positions at both Oxford University (Magdalen College, 1925–1954) and Cambridge University (Magdalene College, 1954–1963). He is best known for his works of fiction, especially The Screwtape Letters, The Chronicles of Narnia, and The Space Trilogy, and for his non-fiction Christian apologetics, such as Mere Christianity, Miracles, and The Problem of Pain. Lewis and fellow novelist J. R. R. Tolkien were close friends. They both served on the English faculty at Oxford University, and were active in the informal Oxford literary group known as the Inklings. According to Lewis's memoir Surprised by Joy, he was baptised in the Church of Ireland, but fell away from his faith during adolescence. Lewis returned to Anglicanism at the age of 32, owing to the influence of Tolkien and other friends, and he became an “ordinary layman of the Church of England.” Lewis's faith profoundly affected his work, and his wartime radio broadcasts on the subject of Christianity brought him wide acclaim.
Lewis wrote more than 30 books, which have been translated into more than 30 languages and have sold millions of copies. The books that make up The Chronicles of Narnia have sold the most and have been popularised on stage, TV, radio, and cinema. His philosophical writings are widely cited by Christian apologists from many denominations.
This volume collects C.S. Lewis’s classic “Space Trilogy,” consisting of Out of the Silent Planet, Perelandra, and That Hideous Strength.
If you enjoy this ebook, don't forget to search your favorite ebook store for «Wildside Press Megapack» to see more of the 300+ volumes in this series, covering adventure, historical fiction, mysteries, westerns, ghost stories, science fiction – and much, much more!

Henry Kuttner (April 7, 1915 – February 3, 1958) was an American author of science fiction, fantasy and horror. He was known for his literary prose and often worked in close collaboration with his wife, C. L. Moore. They met through their association with the «Lovecraft Circle,» a group of writers and fans who corresponded with H. P. Lovecraft. Their work together spanned the 1940s and 1950s and most of the work was credited to pseudonyms, mainly Lewis Padgett and Lawrence O'Donnell. Both freely admitted that they collaborated in part because his page rate was higher than hers.
Included in this volume are:
VALLEY OF THE FLAME
THE DARK WORLD
THE TIME AXIS
THE DARK ANGEL
DRAGON MOON
SPAWN OF DAGON
A MILLION YEARS TO CONQUER
WORLD’S PHARAOH
SUICIDE SQUAD
THE WELL OF THE WORLDS
ALL IS ILLUSION
BABY FACE
SWING YOUR LADY
THE STAR PARADE
LANDS OF THE EARTHQUAKE
AS YOU WERE
WAR GODS OF THE VOID
If you enjoy this ebook, don't forget to search your favorite ebook store for «Wildside Press Megapack» to see more of the 300+ volumes in this series, covering adventure, historical fiction, mysteries, westerns, ghost stories, science fiction – and much, much more!
