В 1930 г. Ф. Т. Маринетти вновь посетил Египет, где 22 декабря 1876 г. в египетской Александрии появился на свет будущий основатель футуризма. Результатом этой поездки стала целая серия очерков, печатавшихся один за другим на страницах туринской «Народной газеты» («Gazzetta del Popolo») с марта 1930 по декабрь 1931 г. В дальнейшем они вышли под одной обложкой под названием «Очарование Египта» (1933). Эта небольшая лиричная книга экстатического проповедника железных дорог, прогресса и войны, написанная о древнем вневременном Египте, максимально, казалось бы, далёком от столь милой автору футуристической эстетики, до сих пор была неизвестна русскому читателю. В формате PDF A4 сохранен издательский макет.
