This little children&#39;s book walks Cory and Haley through each step of their experience when the fire department responds to a fire at a neighbor&#39;s house.<br><br>The book provides knowledge of the events and issues when they participate, directly or indirectly, in a fire or medical emergency.<br>Children often experience a great deal of anxiety and hold fears that bad things will happen to them after they have experienced or witnessed a crisis event.<br><br>Having some fore warning of what is or will be happening during the course of any crisis response situation is paramount in reducing the level of the child&#39;s trauma. This is contrasted to the normal non-threatening environment which children experience when visiting the local firehouse.<br>
